- A greater use of media terminology - create glossary
- Refer back to the text, demonstrating a better knowledge and understanding
- Use theories more efficiently, expand on them - e.g Blumer and Kats use of graphication e.g entertainment and Barthes theory enigma codes.
- Examples from the text; such as the heading and what the pictures may mean
- Proofread my work as some sentences did not make sense
- Check spelling and grammar
- Make a glossary
