MOCK EXAM, LEARNER RESPONSE - MR BUSH

WWW: Some excellent points in the second question, Rajneet.
EBI/LR: Try to include reference to theory: enigma/action codes; props, character roles ect.
Always mention stereotypes/values in the representation question.

There are enigma codes through out the scene, giving us idea's of what is to happen next. For example, the audience get a close up shot view of the foreign actors which as most commonly  recognized in movies as 'terrorist'. As they were seated in the airplane which the scene was focused on, the watchers instantly realize that these are the 'terrorist' and main characters in which the scene will be focusing on.

There is also an representation of stereotypes throughout the scene. There is a typical stereotype of 'terrorist'. This stereotype relates to the 9/11 incident, therefore helping to connote realism. This scene also shows the values of the air traffic controllers. Their target is to stop air traffic and to spot any faults in the flying planes. This is shown in the scene as they receive a odd voice message from a plane above and therefore instantly begin to act on it.
